Everything is Relational

Everything is relational

Do you know you were actually made from a relationship?

Do you know you are a walking talking relationship? Spirit Soul Body - if one part of that relationship breaks down you Die! There is a lesson in that for us.

Everywhere I look I see relationships. I call them families.

I believe God is a family and has a Family.

Do you know even the stars have a family? We call them Galaxies.

Our sun has a family. We call it the solar system.

Mountains have Families. We call them ranges.

Water has a family: we call it oceans, rivers, seas.

Trees have Families: we call them forests.

Fish have families: we call them schools.

YOU have a family. We call it a Family

God has a family and it is called?

ARE YOU WITH ME SO FAR?

Everything is made to be relational!

I need to ask a sobering question here.

If we are God’s Family and He has asked us to come here and meet with one another.

(READ Hebrews 10 vs 25),

WHY do you come here? Examine your motives for a moment.

I believe your Heavenly Father wants you to come here so He can with the help of one another grow us up to be like Jesus Christ.

Then when we have grown up, help others to grow up, and so on.

READ Ephesians 4 vs 11

His desire is, right here right now, to grow you up a little more, a little more, a little more.

THROUGH THE RELATIONSHIP WE HAVE WITH HIM AND WITH THE RELATIONSHIP WITH ONE ANOTHER!

We come to the measure of the stature of the Fullness of Christ.

READ Jeremiah 18 vs 1 to 6

When are the saints perfected? Only in glory, not this side of heaven? NO NO NO

When are you perfected?

Galatians 5. Let’s read and digest the whole Chapter.

The fruit matures, rolls from one to another to another, riper and riper, until it is fully mature.

Talk about the Fruit we don’t talk about much: the ‘say NO’ fruit, the ‘this far and no further’ fruit,

the ‘You shall not pass’ fruit.

TRUE freedom will only exist when you have the final fruit of self-control fully functional in your life.

With Self-Control, the training wheels are off.

The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers can go home, so to speak.

We don’t produce the Fruit, the Holy Ghost does.

WE PRODUCE THE WORKS OF THE FLESH!

SO, given that everything is relational, HE has a part, and we have a part within ourselves, and corporately,we have a part.

Let’s have a quick look at the best example we can

Read Luke chapter 4.

How do we get the Fruit of the Spirit Growing in our lives?

What is His Part in this?

What is our Part in this?

What is our Part corporately in this?

TO SUM UP

Everything is in Relationship - we all have a part to play with one another to grow up to the fullness of Christ.

1 Corinthians 4 vs 15. For though ye have ten thousand instructors in Christ, yet have ye not many fathers: for in Christ Jesus I have begotten you through the gospel.

The difference between an instructor and a Father? The father has skin in the game.

Let’s be a Father and Mother to one another.

Bible verses referenced:

Hebrews10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Ephesians 4

11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

Jeremiah 18

1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,

2 Arise, and go down to the potter’s house, and there I will cause thee to hear my words.

3 Then I went down to the potter’s house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.

4 And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so, he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saithe the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter’s hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Galatians 5

1 Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.

2 Behold, I Paul say unto you, that if ye be circumcised, Christ shall profit you nothing.

3 For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

4 Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.

5 For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.

6 For in Jesus Christ neither circumcision availed anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith which worketh by love.

7 Ye did run well; who did hinder you that ye should not obey the truth?

8 This persuasion cometh not of him that called you.

9 A little leaven leavened the whole lump.

10 I have confidence in you through the Lord, that ye will be none otherwise minded: but he that troubled you shall bear his judgment, whosoever he be.

11 And I, brethren, if I yet preach circumcision, why do I yet suffer persecution? then is the offence of the cross ceased.

12 I would they were even cut off which trouble you.

13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

14 For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

15 But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.

16 This I say then, walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh.

17 For the flesh lusted against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

18 But if ye be led of the Spirit, ye are not under the law.

19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

24 And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

Luke 4

1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness,

2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days, he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

3 And the devil said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4 And Jesus answered him, saying, it is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

7 If thou therefore wilt worship me, all shall be thine.

8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, if thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.
